auracle-git downgrade offered whent there is an upgrade

There is a newer commit than what I have installed, but rather than offering that, Pikaur prefers to propose a downgrade:

$ pikaur -S --devel auracle-git
auracle-git r439.696375f-1 -> r427.33f9097-1

- any idea what's going on?

try re-running pikaur -Su --pikaur-debug and sharing the logs

I've currently got even more up-to-date installation of auracle-git:

$ pacman -Qs auracle-git
local/auracle-git r442.7fae63f-1
...
local/auracle-git-debug r442.7fae63f-1
...

I've my own script for checking my local *-git packages against the online repositories, in this case,

xdgo https://github.com/falconindy/auracle/commits/master/

and when the online version is more recent than the local, I makepkg -sic.

As my auracle-git installation is the most recent, I (after pikaur -su of course) uninstalled it then reinstalled:

$ pikaur -S auracle-git
...
🚛 AUR package will be installed:
 auracle-git                                                -> r427.33f9097-1
...

- which got me back to the latest r442, as before, not r427.

For info, here are the relevant lines of the subsequent debug log:

My current take is that Pikaur probably does always install the latest version from the repository (in this case r442), but just that it doesn't report that in it's output, instead it reports the release stated for the package as implemented in the AUR (in this case r427).

since Su works as expected - then i'm not getting what's your question is about - it showing exactly that version which advertised by AUR API
