Not sure why you are worrying about Teredo IPv6 addresses in this day and age.

Teredo has been deprecated for a while now.

As a long-term IPv6 enthusiast and even zelot 😁, this caught my eye.

[Ghost-chu]

This feature originated from a user request. I rejected the user’s AIGC pull request and reimplemented it the correct way. In any case, using Teredo is strongly discouraged, especially since IPv6 is already quite widespread. Furthermore, running IPv6 through Teredo is not particularly ethical, as it consumes valuable server resources and may cause various problems (legal etc.) for Teredo servers.

[Ghost-chu]

For now, I’m keeping this feature disabled by default because I don’t want to encourage any users to use Teredo tunnels, which is not the correct approach. They should properly configure their network and end devices, or contact their ISP.

However, due to regional laws and ISP policies, ISPs are currently blocking users from p2p uploading large amounts of data under the guise of compliance, routing users to restricted IP ranges, degrading NAT to NAT4, and revoking IPv6 access.
Although this has sparked strong public opposition, ISPs—leveraging their monopolistic position in the industry and driven by profit—are arbitrarily abusing their status as state-owned enterprises to undermine the network environment. They are well aware that ordinary users simply lack the time and resources to engage in lengthy legal proceedings.

Therefore, while I cannot deny that Teredo may hold genuine value for some users and that its existence is justified, I have decided to incorporate this feature into the project.

[Napsterbater]

I'm not really sure how Teredo solves most of that, It's not a VPN, the data inside the Teredo tunnel is plainly visible.

Just to be clear, I'm not complaining that it's to included by any means.

Just confused at why would be bothered to be worked on, I'm sure there's many other things that could be a better use of your development time, especially something that may be a literal handful could make use of it.
